Shades of Tonal Soft Blocks Multibuy

A collection of subtly shaded fabric blocks, enabling children to colour match, collate and construct.

Each set has varying tones of the same colour that can be played with in a variety of ways. These blocks help to convey that all greens and blues are not the same. Children can use these to sort, classify and compare. The blocks can be balanced, lined up and incorporated into small world play, with thanks to Alice Sharp for this lovely idea.

A wonderful resource for developing vocabulary and exposing children to more sophisticated language every day. Children will learn to recognise that the colour of the blocks are not simply purple... they can be described as lavender, aubergine, lilac, mauve, plum, violet and many more.
